A hymn to Dionysos

Di├│nysos i call, loud and divine, fanatic God, a two-fold ┼┐hape is Thine:
Thy various names and attributes i ┼┐ing, O, fir┼┐t-born, thrice begotten, Bacchic King:
Rural, ineffable, two-formed, ob┼┐cure, two-horned, with ivy crowned, and howling most pure.
Bull-faced, and martial, bearer of the vine, endowed with coun┼┐el prudent and Divine:
Triennial, whom the leaves of vines adorn, of Ze├║s and Perseph├│n─ô, occultly born.
Immortal D├Žmon, hear my ┼┐uppliant voice, give me in blamele┼┐s plenty to rejoice;
And listen gracious to my my┼┐tic prayer, ┼┐urrounded with Thy choir of nur┼┐es fair.

Devotees may al┼┐o wi┼┐h to vi┼┐it the Dionysion, a collection of links el┼┐ewhere put together in His honour. Be advi┼┐ed, though, that it hasnÔÇÖt been updated in eighteen years, and thus many of the links ┼┐adly no longer point to their intended de┼┐tinations.
